Works consisted of remodelling the existing sports facility in four separate phases to ensure the Centre remained fully operational during the duration of the construction works. The most challenging aspect of this project was the upgrading of the existing ventilation system, adding ducts and new lines as per the services Engineer. A new floor was added for additional gym space. EPL inserted a new steel frame & opted to use the Pot and Plank flooring system due to the resisted access and speediness of construction. EPL Ltd. also constructed an extension to the canteen for use as a cardio area which featured curtain walling windows.
